With the heaviest heart, I’m asking for help for my mom and siblings after a devastating house fire took everything they had.
At the time of the fire, my siblings weren’t home, and I am endlessly thankful for that. My mom was there and was able to make it out safely but only with the clothes on her back. In a matter of moments, their home and everything inside of it was gone.
The fire was caused by electrical issues, and while we wait for assistance from the Cherokee Nation, we are trying to step in and support them however we can. They are starting completely over & while memories can’t be replaced materials can be.
If you feel led to give, please know that every single dollar will go directly to them. It will help cover immediate things & future rehoming costs as we work to get them back into a safe place to call home.
My mom is one of the strongest “mama bears” I know. She has always done whatever it takes to protect and care for her kids. Now it’s our turn to protect her, to show up for her the way she has always shown up for us.
We are so, so thankful that everyone is safe that is the only thing that truly matters. But the road ahead is going to be hard, and any support, prayers, or shares mean more than we could ever express.
