On a day that started like any other, our lives changed forever when our house burned down. In a matter of hours, my family and I lost not just our home, but the place where we built our memories, found comfort, and felt safe. The fire took everything—our clothes, our essentials, and the sense of security we once had. Now, we are doing our best to stay strong and support each other as we face the uncertainty of what comes next. We moved to the United States in 2022 with nothing, and now we lost everything again.
We are currently trying to find a safe place to stay and replace the basic things we need to get by each day. The costs of temporary housing, clothing, and everyday essentials are overwhelming, and the thought of starting over is daunting. We are also trying to figure out how we can afford a new place to call home, but the road ahead feels long and uncertain.
We are reaching out to our community for help during this incredibly difficult time. Every penny matters and will go directly toward helping us rebuild our lives. Your kindness and support mean more than words can express. Thank you for considering helping my family as we work to recover and find hope again.
