My family—Tia Nancy (73), Tia Berta (71), Tia Wendy (55), Tio Francisco (55), and Ruben (16)—have always been the heart of our home in La Guaira, Venezuela. Recently, twin earthquakes struck our community, leaving their houses with severe structural damage and forcing them to leave the place they've called home for decades. The devastation has been overwhelming, especially for my elderly aunts and young cousin, who now face uncertainty and hardship every day. On top of this, the ongoing crisis in Venezuela has made it even harder for them to find stability, and they are now unemployed and struggling to meet basic needs.
I am raising funds to help my family secure temporary housing and begin essential repairs to their home. Your support will provide them with a safe place to stay and the resources needed to rebuild, offering hope during an incredibly difficult time. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in their lives and help them recover from this disaster.
Please consider donating and sharing our story. With your help, my family can start to rebuild and find hope again. Thank you for standing with us in this moment of need.
