I never imagined I would find myself in a position where I needed to ask for help. After being unexpectedly laid off, my family of six has been struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, groceries, and other essential bills. I’ve spent every day searching for work and am grateful to have recently secured a new job.
While this new opportunity gives us hope, the reality is that my first paycheck won’t arrive in time to cover our rent, and even when it does, it won’t be enough to catch up on the bills that have piled up during this difficult period. We are facing the possibility of eviction, utility shutoffs, and the ongoing challenge of putting food on the table for our children.
I am committed to working hard and getting my family back on stable ground, but right now we need help getting through this transition. Any donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward rent, utilities, groceries, and other basic necessities. If you’re unable to donate, sharing our fundraiser would mean so much to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can provide during this difficult time.
