Hello, my name is Aya. I am launching this fundraising campaign on behalf of a family from Gaza who contacted me in despair. Their story is heartbreaking.

The last thing I could think of was to appeal to you, as my family and I are in dire need of survival.
In recent days, we have been subjected to the most horrific forms of violence in the Gaza Strip, with bombing over our heads and the heads of our children.
I desperately need you to save my children from the aggression.
My husband, my two children, and I fled the Gaza Strip. I am six months pregnant with my third child. During my pregnancy, I suffered from anemia due to the lack of food and water. I gave birth to my baby girl amidst the ongoing aggression, bombardment, and intense fear. Her basic needs, such as diapers, milk, and heating, were not met. We continue to be killed every day with every successful attempt at survival, because survival inside the Gaza Strip has become almost impossible.
I live in a tent with my children after my house was completely destroyed in Gaza and we do not have the most basic needs of clothes, drink and food. My father was martyred in the war and my psychological state was destroyed more and more because of his loss and I suffered a lot and entered a very difficult psychological state and despite all of that
The occupation's threats around us are increasing, to launch an operation, so I want to save my family and have a chance to live a decent life. I want an amount of $100,000 so that I can travel to Egypt with my family of 5, so that I can secure a place to live and meet our basic needs, my children's, my husband's, and our needs, such as clothing, food, and shelter.
The war on Gaza has ended, but our suffering has not. We are now living the most difficult days of our lives without homes. We are now living in the greatest catastrophe: tents that do not protect us from the bitter cold or the heat of the sun. There is no doubt that we are also suffering from a lack of food. There is a very severe shortage of food. We have not eaten chicken, meat, or fruits for two years. Diseases are spreading due to the lack of food.
The life we live now in Gaza is undignified and unbecoming of a human being. We want to leave for a safe place to provide a decent life for my family, especially my children. My children have not received an education for two years. Their academic life has ended. The hospitals are destroyed.
We are living the worst life here.
When we finally returned to our home, it was in ruins. We had nothing left. No food, no clean water, no income, no safety. Every day, we are asked the same heartbreaking question: How will I feed my children? How will I keep them alive for another day?
