Hello family and friends,

My name is Stacy, and with a heavy heart I am reaching out on behalf of my sister in law and her family in Guatemala. Earlier this year, my 19 year old nephew went missing while visiting family in Guatemala City. For months, we held onto hope, praying every day that he would come home safely. Sadly, we recently received the devastating news that his body had been found.

Our hearts are broken. He was such a bright, intelligent, and hardworking young man who had his whole life ahead of him. He was a loving son, brother, cousin, and friend, and he held a very special place in my son Rio’s life as his big cousin. His kindness and spirit touched everyone who knew him.

As you can imagine, this loss has left our family not only heartbroken but also facing unexpected financial burdens. During this time of unimaginable grief, I want to help relieve some of the stress from my sister in law so she can focus on mourning her son without the heavy weight of funeral expenses.
