Supporting Families Affected by Hurricane Melissa in Westmoreland, Jamaica

My name is Teka Peterkin, and I'm reaching out to ask for your support for family members in the parish of Westmoreland, Jamaica, who have been devastated by Hurricane Melissa.

My family and many others in the community of Ashton and Parson Reed have lost their homes, leaving them without shelter, food, or basic necessities. The damage is extensive, and the need for support is urgent funds will be used to rebuild homes that was destroyed by Hurricane Melissa.

Backstory: I was born in Westmoreland, Ashton to be precise. My mom moved away after I started primary school; however, I went back every year to spend the summers with my grandmother, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Most of my best memories were made each summer in my grandmother's house in which I was born in Ashton.
