Hi,

 

For those of you that don't know me, I am Kieran and I currently live in Houston, Texas. I am originally from Manchester, England, and have lived in America for almost 10 years.

 

The reason I am starting this Gofundme is to help my parents and little sister in England get back on their feet again.

 

On Saturday morning (2/26), my Mum, Dad, and younger Sister lost everything to a fire. In a typical scenario, home/fire insurance would help assist with losses and damages. However, my family just recently sold their home and are in-between places. On Friday, they moved everything they owned to a storage facility in Cheadle, England. This included all of the furniture, all of their clothes, all our family pictures, family heirlooms, and additional items that were very sentimental to us. Since the fire took place at a private storage facility, home insurance does not assist with these losses. The only thing the three of them currently own is the small number of clothes they brought with them for a short stay in a nearby hotel. Fortunately, and most importantly, no one was hurt in this fire, so despite this setback, we are all feeling extremely grateful. 

 

Unfortunately, I am thousands of miles away and unable to be with my family at this time. I wanted to show my support for them and give back to my parents who worked hard for everything we had growing up.

 

Asking for money is extremely uncomfortable for me, but I realize this is the only thing I can do. My dad will probably kill me for setting this up, but I really want to help them. Whether or not you decide to donate, we appreciate your thoughts, prayers, good vibes, love (whatever works) so thank you for it all.
