Today on August 14, 2021 there was a 7.2 earthquake that hit my home in Les Cayes, Haiti. Since 2014 I have been in America for school while caring for my 13 year old sister and 20 year old brother on my own. While I do so my father and mother chose to remain in Haiti. Today I got a call from my mother letting me know that there was an earthquake taking place and the place I call home is gone. My childhood home where my mother and father have raised me and my brothers and sisters was pronounced broken to the ground leaving dust and debris as the last memory of what was once our home. My parents are currently walking in the streets of Les Cayes, Haiti searching for shelter with a group of others. With this money we can rebuild the house and help others find a place to stay until things get better. It would be greatly appreciated if any sort of donations can be made during this tough time time. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated.
