Introduction:

My name is Motez Abu Ramadan. I am a Palestinian from Gaza living in The Netherlands

I'm seeking help to assist family members and close friends in evacuating from the Gaza Strip through the Rafah border.

Why am I donating?:

Our family is not more important than others, but They are in a dire situation.

I'd love to help all of the Gaza Strip if possible, but this GoFundMe is for my family's and close friends evacuation.

This is an impending emergency because we got information from my direct family in the Gaza Strip that Israel is planning to bombard all of Rafah and they will not allow anyone to leave Rafah anymore so we want to help them as fast as possible.

The Situation:

Since October 7th, Gaza has faced another genocide.

I've consulted widely and concluded that creating this GoFundMe involves risks, but now it's a worst-case scenario.

Transparency and Risks:

Full transparency will be maintained, including sharing transactions.

We will share more pictures and if possible videos of Jawad and his family.

I'll share a video after their evacuation.

If the evacuation fails, I'll still share it with the donors.

I understand the risks involved like possible national bank account freezes or false accusations.

The Story About Jawad Albakri:

Jawad Albakri lost his home as it was destroyed during the war, which has not only taken away his physical shelter but also robbed him of cherished memories. Additionally, his mom lost three members of her family, adding to our grief and hardship.

Jawad and his family have been forced to flee multiple times, seeking refuge in Khan Younis, then Mawasi, Rafah, and now Deir al-Balah, where they share a tent with his uncle's family and another family. The cost of a tent there is exorbitant, and we simply cannot afford it. It's a desperate situation, and I am reaching out to you with an urgent plea for help.

I've tried everything I can to bring my friend and his family to safety and get them out of Gaza, but I can’t do this all by myself. I believe in the power of people coming together to help others, even if it’s with a small share. But I refuse to give up. I am his only hope, and I am determined to do whatever it takes to ensure his well-being.

Please, I implore you to understand the urgency of our situation and to lend us your support. Your assistance in covering the expenses for his survival, travel, and essential needs in Gaza is crucial. I've started a GoFundMe campaign with the goal of raising USD $25,000 to facilitate his evacuation and provide for his necessities. Your contributions will make an immense difference in his life and bring us one step closer to being reunited.

The Plan:

the amount we need is $25,000 for all his family members.

The funds will be transferred from a Dutch bank account to an Egyptian one, then to the Egyptian organization.

Any excess funds will be used as per donors' wishes.

There's no guarantee of success, but we're taking a chance to save lives.

We can't help everyone due to circumstances.
