Hello everyone,

My name is Ziyad Mohammed Nabhan, a Palestinian refugee from the northern Gaza specifically from the town of Beit Lahiya. I am 19 years old and I was a first-year software development student at the Islamic University of Gaza before it was destroyed, one of the Palestinians who were forced to leave their homes and flee southward from the disastrous situation in the northern Gaza Strip ‏, leaving behind more and more destruction. But the situation here in the south is not much better. My family, consisting of 9 members : ‏Mohammed(5),Kareem(10),Liyan(12),Ahmed(17),My mother Taghreed(38),Father Mohammed(43),Grandmother saadia(62),Grandfather Ziyad (66) and Me (19), does not feel safe or comfortable here. The sounds of shelling and rockets are almost incessant, prices are exorbitant, the economic situation is deteriorating, and there is physical and mental exhaustion due to constant worry and lack of food.

To be honest and sincere, I can no longer bear watching my family struggle every day to get some food or a little drinking water, as well as our desperate attempts to recharge the small LED light in the midst of power outages in most areas, or even the necessary money to secure the medication needed for my 66-year-old grandfather. My younger brothers, Kareem and Mohammed, look pitiful at every scene of violence and destruction.

Displacement after displacement, and after the seventh displacement, we finally arrived at a small tent made of wood and nylon, devoid of all forms of natural life that any family in the world might experience. It doesn't protect from the bitter cold or even from the rain, and it doesn't even have enough space for nine people. (I will upload pictures of the tent.)

At this urgent and difficult time, I urgently appeal to everyone concerned about us and our situation, especially my young siblings and elderly grandparents (primarily from a humanitarian perspective), to help even if only a little to get my family out of this humanitarian crisis to Egyptian territories. Reaching the Egyptian border is the only way to escape this disaster. I assure you that we will succeed in achieving this, as you are my only way to protect myself and my family from death.

Please note that the cost of one person’s exit from the Gaza Strip to Egyptian territories is $5000 as a minimum.

Accordingly, 100% of your donations will be used as follows:

Evacuation Costs: Suppose that the cost of arriving to Egypt is $5,000 and we are nine people, the total is $45,000 approximately 41,940 euros.
Administrative Fees: An estimated 2,000 - 3,000 euros will cover the fees associated with this GoFundMe campaign(This does not include bank fees, transportation from the city of Deir al-Balah to the Rafah land crossing).
Initial Set-Up in Egypt: From your donations, approximately 5,060 euros remain in the family’s balance, which will be used for essentials such as buying clothes for children, food, house rent, and other basic needs to establish in Egypt.

With a final total of approximately 50,000 euros.
