Help My Family Honor Demetrio (Chuy) Castillo's Memory

Hello everyone,

I'm Chuys daughter and my family has been devastated during these hard moments due to my dad having terminal cancer. My dads name was Demetrio (Chuy) Castillo Osorio, and had just turned 54 years old. We are looking for help with funeral expenses to be able to let him rest in peace the way he deserved. He suffered from Adenocarcinoma Metastasis stage 4 cancer. It advanced quickly all over his body within 2 months after finding out it was cancer in Novemeber 2024. This type of cancer was extremely aggressive and caused chronic pain that eventually spread all over his body. Prior to finding out, he had pain in his body and believed he hurt his back from work and would go to the chiropractor for help with the pain. He kept up with these appointments but nothing was helping him. After noticing there was no advancements my dad finally went back to the hospital and found out he had cancer. As time passed his ability to walk declined. Unfortunately, there was no cure and he was diagnosed too far into his sickness to be able to help him live a longer life with treatments. My dad passed away on 1/25/2025. He recieved chemotherapy and radiation therapy but wanted to stop due to the suffering and no advancements. He was always the provider of the family and did everything to make sure we were taken care of all our lives. He was the most hard working, humble, funniest person, and never deserved to leave the world in this way. We're looking for support to help my family during these difficult times. soy la hija de Chuy y mi familia ha estado desvastada debido a estos momentos difíciles porque mi Padre tuvo cáncer terminal. Mi papá se llamaba Demetrio (Chuy) Castillo Osorio, apenas cumplió 54 años de edad. Estamos buscando ayuda para los gastos de su funeral y que Descanse en Paz en la manera que él merece. Sufrió cáncer llamado Adenocarcinoma Metastásico etapa 4, el cual avanzó muy rápido por su cuerpo dentro de 2 meses a partir de que fue diagnosticado en Noviembre 2024. Este tipo de cáncer era muy agresivo y causaba dolores crónicos que finalmente se extendieron por todo su cuerpo. Antes de saber que era cáncer tuvo dolor en su espalda y pensó que era debido al trabajo y fue con el quiropractico para ayudarse contra el dolor, pero no sirvió, y cuando notó que no había mejoría fue al hospital y encontraron que era cáncer. Conforme pasó el tiempo perdió la habilidad de caminar. Desafortunadamente, no hubo cura y fue diagnosticado cuando la enfermedad estaba muy avanzada y a pesar de eso recibió quimioterapia y radioterapia pero no hubo avance. Mi papá falleció el 01/25/2025. Él siempre fue el proveedor de su familia e hizo todo lo posible por cuidar de nuestras vidas. Él fue el mas trabajador, humilde, el mas divertido y no merecía dejar este mundo de esta manera. Estamos buscando apoyo para ayudar a mi familia en estos tiempo difíciles.
