My name is Carla Velasquez and on behalf of my family Velasquez-Paz, we are creating this GoFundMe to receive all the assistance we can get in bringing my brother back to his hometown of Durham, North Carolina for a proper burial. On Saturday, May 14, 2022 my brother Anthony Velasquez was in a terrible dirt bike accident in Mexico which left him in a coma for two days. My brother unfortunately, passed away two days later on Monday, May 16, 2022 after being declared brain dead. He leaves behind our mom and dad, 2 brothers and 2 sisters along with his niece and nephews whom he loved so much.
