For the past ten years, my family and I have faced the daily challenge of living without a vehicle. Every trip to work, the grocery store, or anywhere else has meant asking for rides or walking long distances. It’s been a real struggle, and there have been many days when we worried about how we’d get where we needed to go. Not having reliable transportation has made it harder to keep steady work and to make sure we always have food on the table.

A vehicle would change everything for us. It would mean we could get to work on time, buy groceries when we need them, and not have to worry about going hungry. It would give us the freedom and security that most people take for granted, and help us build a better future for our family.
