Hi I’m Kyle, the picture you guys see is of me and my mom’s dog Bodhi. He’s 4 years old and the most loving dog I’ve ever had. He loves his treats and afternoon walks but he’s currently suffering from something that might take that away from him if we don’t receive some help. Bodhi has been in hospital for the past two days due to a blockage in his small intestine that requires surgery. After the surgery, my moms vet bills will be sitting around $12,000. I received a call from my mom this morning. She mentioned that her insurance will only cover an extremely small amount of the surgery and that she doesn’t have the money to pay for it herself. With the vet bills stacking up, I’m afraid my mom will be in some trouble if she doesn’t receive help. Since I left for college, I’ve looked at Bodhi like he’s a super hero with that way he’s helped my mom. Her and Bodhi have an unbreakable bond and have been through so much together.

My mom is a single mother that had recently quit her job as a speech therapist at a local elementary school due to the toxic work environment and overall unhappiness that she had been battling with for as long as I could remember. Making that type of move in life was something I was so proud of and I know takes so much courage to do. Although, she now makes less money, she’s much happier doing her own practice working with kids as a private speech pathologist. The last thing I want is for her to feel penalized for taking actions to better her everyday life.

Their lives revolve around each other and without him I’m afraid it will leave my mom heartbroken. All the money raised will go straight to helping my mom pay for the surgery. All extra donations will be donated to charity to help other families solve similar issues me and my mom are facing today. Anything will help!!
