Help my family finance my parents’ medical needs

Hi everyone who has a kind heart, I am asking for your help because it has come to a point that we cannot sustain the financial requirements that my father needed to make him continue breathing. Unfortunately, my sister just informed me that my mom’s condition has also worsened so the doctor has advised my sister to also take our mother to the hospital.

My father is Antonio Billanes, Jr., 85 years old and has been in the hospital since February 26, 2022 suffering from post-covid infections and has been in the icu and being intubated for two weeks now requiring almost $1,000 per day for his icu room and medications which has been upgraded because the old meds were not working properly. A glimmer of hope is that my sister told me that the hospital staff told her that they are trying to wean him off of the tube bringing oxygen to his body in the next week if he can breathe on his own or the doctor will surgically insert the tube directly to his lung.

Unfortunately, only a few minutes ago my sister just called me that my mother too needed to be hospitalized because her cough had been bothering her for almost three weeks now due to bacterial infection.

Both my parents had covid last month but fairly mild symptoms but since maybe because they were unvaccinated the virus had already damaged my father’s lungs and could have left my mother vulnerable to bacteria.

I used to work as an ESL teacher for the New York City Board of Education but has since retired early five years ago after serving only for 13 years so my pension is rather barely enough for me and my needs so I took the job as an insurance agent for New York Life which is dependent on commissions only so there are months sometimes that I don’t get a client.

My two sisters who are now taking care of my parents there in the Philippines have almost exhausted their resources.

This is the reason why I am asking for financial help. Any amount that you could extend to our family will be of great help to hopefully extend my parents lives or at least alleviate their unfortunate circumstances.
