My name is Noura Al-Dahdoh, I am 36 years old, and I work as a medical practitioner at Al-Sahaba Medical Complex in Gaza City. My family consists of six people: my husband, our four children, Obeida, Farah, Aya, and Mohammad, and myself. Today, we live under constant threat, facing a slow and daily struggle for survival amidst a war that has taken everything from us.

Our home in the Zaytoun neighborhood of Gaza, near Salah Al-Din Al-Ayoubi Mosque, has been completely destroyed, along with the "Development House Center", located in Shawa and Hasri Tower on Al-Rimal Street, second floor near Unit 2000, which was my husband’s only source of income. We have nowhere left to seek shelter. We used to live a simple life, raising our children with hope and hard work, but the war has taken away our home, livelihood, and peace of mind.

Every day, my children ask me: "When will we return to school? When will we eat the things we love? When will we feel safe?" I have no answers. I can only hold them and promise that better days are coming, even though I can barely believe that myself.

We are now considering migration and seeking asylum in Mexico, but the costs are extremely high and beyond our means. We have a friend in Mexico named Renzo D´Alessandro, a dedicated activist and talented artist, who communicates with official asylum organizations there.

With the support of the Toluca Committee for Solidarity with Palestine, Renzo follows our case closely and works tirelessly to help us secure official asylum in Mexico. This process requires a very costly evacuation plan to ensure our safe passage and resettlemen We are not asking for much. We just want to live, protect our children, access food, water, and medicine, and restore the dignity that has been buried under the rubble.

Spending Plan for $100,000:

Safe evacuation from Gaza to a secure country, then onward to Mexico to obtain official asylum, with our case being closely and continuously monitored by our friend, Mexican activist Renzo D´Alessandro.
