My family has been going through an incredibly difficult time over the past several months. About five months ago, my mom became seriously ill and had to be hospitalized on both Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. She spent time in the ICU, and I needed to be by her side to support her and help with her care. Because of this, I missed a lot of work, and it became impossible to keep up with our bills.

Now, I’ve fallen so far behind on rent that I was served an eviction notice. The thought of losing our home while my mom is still recovering is overwhelming. I am doing everything I can to get back on my feet, but right now, I need help to make sure my family has a safe place to stay.
