Emergency Aid and Support for My Family in Nha Trang’s Historic Flood.

My family members’ homes in Binh Cang, Nha Trang are underwater due to record breaking, historic flooding. This disaster arrived with little warning, and many of my relatives, including elders, disabled family members, children, toddlers, and nuns lost nearly everything.

They were able to evacuate only to a neighbor’s higher-level home, the only safe place nearby. Rescuers cannot reach the area because the water is too dangerous, and my family escaped with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.

This fundraiser is to help multiple affected families recover by providing emergency essentials such as food, clean water, medicine, blankets, and temporary shelter their homes are unsafe or destroyed.

Funds will also support clean up and sanitation after the water recedes, repairing and salvaging homes, and replacing essential household items like bedding, clothing, and cookware.

Entire districts are underwater, and many residents have had to climb to upper floors and roofs for safety. Roads are nonexistent and supplies are scarce. This is not a typical seasonal flood, so the families were completely unprepared.
