hello, my name is Amanda. i am trying to get back to california. or at least out of this room in nebraska. i live in a small bedroom with my bf, our 2 kids, and our cats. we are constantly dealing with bedbugs and pinworms and we try so hard to get rid of them but nothing works. we need to get out of this small room.

we were living in california, my bf got laid off, and we subsequently got evicted from our apartment. we were going to try to find a cheaper place to live at in california but my bf’s mom told my bf that she had a whole house for our family to live in if we came to nebraska. i wanted nothing to do with nebraska, but being promised a house was a better option than trying to look for a new apartment, so we ONLY chose to go to nebraska because we were promised our own house. but there was no house ready for us, it was all a lie just to get us to nebraska, and now we have been stuck in a room in his parents house for the past year. it was really hard for bf to find a job out here in nebraska and the job he has doesn’t pay enough to get us out of this room, much less back to california. we are living paycheck to paycheck and struggling so much.

we really just need help to get back to california. i’m putting this go fund me at $5k bc i feel like that’s enough for a deposit and a couple months rent while we try to get a job in california. we have also contemplated getting an RV as well.
