Help my family after my Dad’s hospital stays

Hello all, I’m Rey and as difficult as this may be I am asking for some help to support my family through the difficult months we have had. As some of you may know, I am a caregiver for my father who has been on dialysis for almost 12 years, diabetic and also legally blind. In March, he suffered a serious fall and broke his knee. After spending time in the hospital, he continued to suffer with residual injuries and multiple hospital stays. This led to our most recent situation where my dad has been in the hospital since June 1. The pain which he was still experiencing led us to multiple diagnoses. While in the hospital, he also contracted COVID and was under quarantine and delayed his procedures.

My mom and I are my dads at home caregivers 24/7. Helping my dad with meals, laundry, dialysis transportation among other is my sole source of income. While he is away, I will continue to have zero income until August or September.  We help each other out with all household expenses including car payment and insurances. Since he has been in the hospital, this is been a huge strain on finances especially with gas prices and meals outside of the home.

Thank you for your help. This will help relieve a tiny bit of stress on hopefully a road to recovery.
