Help Thi Nguyen and her Family after a Home Robbery

Hi, my name is Sam Nguyen and I’m writing this with a heavy heart. Our family home, where I live with my mum and dad was broken into yesterday. It was left in a state of mess with all doors broken. My mother and I lost a lot of deeply sentimental items that can never be replaced and it’s been really heard seeing how much it’s affected her emotionally.

It’s heartbreaking to see my parents in this emotional state. Over $100,000 worth of items were stolen, including cultural gold jewellery. No one should have to experience this. A home is meant to a safe space.

They also took a lot of my electronics, including headphones, mics and keyboards. We’re all shaken by what’s occurred and now my parents are trying to put things back together to make our home safer by installing extra security and rebuilding a proper fence - but we simply can’t afford all of it right now at a time like this.
