A few weeks ago, I received news that no pet parent ever wants to hear—my beloved dog was diagnosed and needs chemotherapy. The good news is that I caught it early, and right now, she’s still her happy, energetic self. She doesn’t know anything is wrong, and she continues to fill my days with joy, running and playing at the beach just like always. The veterinarians are optimistic that with chemo, she can recover and enjoy a few more wonderful years by my side.

Our journey together began when I rescued her in Hawaii as a baby. She’s been with me through my twenties, giving me the love and comfort I needed to move away from family and friends. Her companionship has made every new place feel like home, and I can’t imagine life without her by my side.

The cost of her treatment is significant, with ongoing chemotherapy and vet visits ahead. I want to do everything I can to give her the best chance at a healthy, happy future. Every contribution will go directly toward her medical care, helping her stay active and pain-free for as long as possible.
