Help My Disabled Mom Escape an Absuvie Home

Hi, my name is India Gibson and I live in Utah. My mother, Twila Gibson, is currently stuck in Florida in an abusive home where she has no assistance for her disabilities and is being physically, emotionally, verbally, and financially abused. I am trying to fly out to Florida to help her move closer to me in Utah in an appropriate assisted living facility.

We need help with funds for getting plane tickets, moving assistance, a moving vehicle or storage unit, hotel rooms while the truck is packed, food and basic necessities while I'm there, and gas for the way back. The cheapest moving trucks are still in the $2000 range alone, and gas will be at least $800.

My mother is 50 years old and disabled with multiple sclerosis and is unable to achieve basic tasks on her own without assistance. The man she lives with is neglecting her with isolation, refusing to assist her with seeking medical care or basic needs like food, and continually threatens to remove her from the home onto the street. He has control of her finances via having constant access to her credit and debit cards. This man is a felon and is severely mistreating my mother.

Any donations at all would be greatly appreciated! All funds will go directly towards the trip to get my mother from Florida to Utah, and any excess funds will immediately be put into assisted living for her once she's here in Utah.
