Help My Disabled Father Stay Housed

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out for help on behalf of my father.

Their story:

My father suffered multiple strokes in 2010, and we thought we were going to lose him. Miraculously, he survived, but it came at a great cost. He is now disabled and unable to work, not due to his own fault. Despite trying many times, he has been unable to find a job. He does receive SSI, but it’s not enough to cover his living expenses.

The reason my father needs more help than before is that in the last year, a falling out between him and my mom forced him to move out of the house. There is a legal battle between them to determine what will happen to the house but until then my father needs help to live.

We’re hoping to raise enough to cover 2-3 months of rent and utilities.
