I am a disabled mom doing my best to care for my children, especially my youngest daughter who is chronically ill and faces daily pain from her medical condition. She requires special treatments and a diet that insurance does not cover, and I am constantly worried about how to provide for her needs. As a two-time cancer survivor myself, I know how important it is to stay positive, but the challenges of living with a disability and raising children on my own can feel overwhelming.

We have no living family or support system, and every day is a struggle just to pay the bare minimum bills. I am unable to afford a vehicle, which makes it even harder to get to medical appointments or do anything special for my children. The holidays are especially difficult, and I wish I could give my kids the joy and comfort they deserve. My daughter remains positive despite her pain, but I know my children worry about our situation.
