Help My Disabled Blind Sister Recover With Special Equipment
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Lucy Horvath, and I’m fundraising for my sister, Elizabeth Jong. She is disabled, blind, and has always faced life’s challenges with remarkable courage. Recently, she suffered a severe leg break, and her bone is not healing properly. She has been told by her surgeon that she can expect to be in a wheelchair for the next 2 years. This painful injury has left her struggling to move, recover, and maintain her independence.
On top of this, my sister also lives with sleep apnea, which makes rest and healing even harder. Doctors have recommended that she have a special wheelchair and medical bed to support her healing leg, improve her breathing at night, and keep her safe and comfortable. Additional she will need other aids to help her operate a wheelchair blind and with daily life tasks. Unfortunately, this kind of equipment is far beyond what her ODSP income can afford.
Why We Need Your Help
• Her broken leg requires more support so the bone can heal correctly.
• Sleep apnea puts her at risk without a proper adjustable bed.
• She deserves the comfort and dignity of safe, restorative sleep.
This bed and the additional medical support it provides will make a huge difference in her recovery and quality of life.
How You Can Help
We are reaching out with open hearts to ask for your support. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to getting her the care she needs. If you’re unable to give financially, please consider sharing this campaign with your friends, family, church, or community. Your prayers and encouragement also mean the world to us.
Gratitude
On behalf of my sister and our family, thank you for taking the time to read her story. With your help, we can give her a safe place to heal, the rest she desperately needs, and the hope of a brighter tomorrow.
God bless you for your kindness and generosity.
