Hi, my name is Taliaa Pouncey. I am the Vice President of Career Development in DECA, apart of South Gwinnett.

We are reaching out to you with excitement and determination as we embark on an incredible journey with our South Gwinnett High School DECA Chapter. DECA, an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management, has provided us with invaluable opportunities to grow and develop our skills.

Now, we have the chance to take our talents to the next level at the DECA International Career Development Conference (ICDC) in Anaheim, California. This prestigious event, held from April 27-30, 2024, brings together over twenty thousand high school students, advisors, businesspersons, and alumni for several days of competition and excitement.

Our goal is to raise $2,500, individually, which gives a total of $15,000 all together, as in order to help cover travel expenses to Anaheim. This funding will go towards lodging/hotel reservations, DECA Day in the Park tickets, competition supplies, and other essential needs to ensure our team's success.

Throughout this journey, we have achieved remarkable success, securing several Top 5 winners for Region and numerous Top 10 winners for State. We have tirelessly dedicated ourselves to honing our skills, participating in every event and conference GA DECA has offered this year.

Now, we are asking for your support to help us make our dreams a reality. Your generous donation will not only contribute to our journey to Nationals but will also empower us to represent South Gwinnett High School with pride and excellence.
