My daughter is a giver to her community, an educator in the school system, and supports various civic groups through membership or volunteering. She is also a single mom setting an excellent example for her son. She works extra jobs to be sure to expose him to healthy outlets like chess, swimming, and other sports with organizations that value learning and positive competition. Despite her busy schedule, she always finds time to give back and uplift those around her.
Recently, she was selected among her classmates for a wonderful upcoming 7-day educational opportunity in England. This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance for her to learn, grow, and bring back new experiences to her students and her son. However, as a single parent who is always working after teaching to maintain life for herself and her son an opportunity
like this requires extra savings.
My daughter has accomplished so much—earning two master's degrees, working with gifted and special needs children, and always going above and beyond for her family and community. She would treasure this opportunity!
The funds raised will help cover her passport, basic seating on flights (need immediately $1700), program fees, the small portion of tuition that isn't covered, and food.
It's an emotional challenge to ask for help when others always feel like you have it together! Yet, with caregiving for parents and transitioning health needs, it is not possible to be the help my daughter deserves to enjoy this opportunity to learn abroad. I am hoping those who have encountered her through church, community service, or have watched her grow through the years will bless her for this.
I would gratefully appreciate any support, and I know she would too— I am reaching out through this effort as a surprise to bless her. Any amount would be appreciated. Thank you for helping make this dream possible.
