My daughter needs urgent dental care—she has 10 cavities that need to be filled and a crown for one of her molars. She’s struggled with a deep fear of the dentist for years, and it’s kept her from getting the care she needs. As her mom, I know how hard dental anxiety can be. I’ve faced it myself, and I worry that she’s seen my struggles and fears, making it even harder for her to feel safe in the dentist’s chair.

Insurance is covering part of the cost, but we’re still left with a significant bill that’s overwhelming for her/me. I want nothing more than for my daughter to have a healthy mouth and the confidence to go to her regular cleanings without fear. I must add this insurance ends in May of this year- connected to a job loss. This crown is especially important—it’s for a molar, and without it, her bite and ability to chew could be affected, leading to even more dental issues down the road.

I am hopeful this gets taken care of this month and she will be able to enjoy her food without chewing issues! It means everything to me that she feels loved and she is SHOWN that she is cared for. I believe the kindness from others makes people feel better about themselves—who can feel bad when the world has your back? Please show her your support.

I wish I could take away her anxiety, but I know that making sure the bill is covered will help ease her worries.
