On Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, my 25-year-old daughter's life was turned upside down. While at work, Trinity suddenly became overwhelmed by severe pain and had a co-worker rush her to the emergency room. The pain was so intense, she couldn't even stand.

Doctors discovered that an internal organ had ruptured, causing internal bleeding totaling 2.8 liters of blood. She was rushed into life-saving emergency surgery. She received 4 blood transfusions along with medications and fluds. Had she not gone into the ER that night, she wouldn't be here now. We are so grateful to say that she survived.

She spent two days in the hospital recovering and being monitored before being discharged with strict doctor orders to rest. She is currently at home on bed rest, slowly regaining strength. However, she is unable to work for at least the next two weeks.

Unfortunately, she does not have health insurance. Her hospital bill came to over $18,000. While she will be applying for financial assistance, the outcome is uncertain. On top of that, she is facing lost wages while recovering.
