My name is Ginny Witcher. I am reaching out with a humbled heart. This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do, but I can’t watch my daughter suffer anymore without trying everything I can to help. This is a lesson in humility for me, but my daughter needs a miracle — and I believe God works through people.

On March 15th, 2025, just one day after buying her home, my daughter’s house caught fire. It was an electrical fire that started in the attic. By God’s grace, she and my son made it out alive, but the home is no longer safe to live in. There’s no water, no electricity, ceilings pushed down, water damage on floors, and if you stand in the kitchen and look up, you can literally see the sun.

We were still shopping for insurance and had not secured a policy when the fire happened, leaving my daughter with no coverage and no safety net. We’ve held garage sales, given everything we can, tried different charities, and tried to manage on our own, but our resources are gone. With winter coming, the situation is urgent.
She has been trying to live there because she says she does not want to be a burden to us or anyone else, but it breaks my heart to know the conditions she’s in.

My daughter is 41 years old. Her life has never been easy — from surviving childhood trauma and abuse throughout her life, to losing her children in an unjust custody battle, to working 70–80 hours a week just to survive — she has endured more than most people ever will. The horrors and traumas in her story are not mine to tell. I am not posting her name or picture that will identify her because of needing to protect her identity.
Through it all, she has been a woman of faith, helping others, giving her all to those in need, and sharing God’s love wherever she goes, especially with those that feel lost and forgotten.

Doctors now say she can't work. Despite health issues that prevent her from working now, she still pours her heart into others. Her strength inspires me, but right now, she is at a breaking point.

I’m asking for help to raise $25,000 so my daughter can:

Make her home safe and livable again (electric, water, ceiling, flooring, and structural repairs).

Replace basic necessities lost in the fire.

Have stability while she continues navigating her health and Social Security process.

She has given so much to others. Now I pray that we can surround her with the love, compassion, and support she has always shown.

Now, she needs help.

You may not think $1.00 will help, but every single dollar will make a difference — even $1 adds up. Your generosity will give her not only shelter, but also hope that after so much loss, she is not forgotten.

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for being the hands and feet of God in this moment. Please share if you can give — and if you can’t, both prayers and shares mean the world to us.
