Please Help My Daughter Get Through Breast Cancer

Anyone that knows me, knows that I would never ask for help for myself, but I would go to any lengths to help my daughter fight her battle with cancer.

She was recently diagnosed with stage 3 metastatic breast cancer. The prognosis for the cure is good but it will be a long hard and painful road ahead of her. I thank God that she is such a strong person and is ready to give this cancer the fight of her life.

Her doctors found a tumor in her right breast and small tumor in a lymph node in her arm pit. The doctors and surgeon are treating this aggressively to quickly stop it before it spreads to other parts of her body. She will start her chemotherapy treatments on 9/08/23 and I will fly there the night before to be with her because she needs her mom.

She will have 6 chemo treatments over 4 to 5 months. After completing her chemo treatments, her doctors will do more tests to find out if the cancer has spread.

She will follow up with her her surgeon in January to make plans for a double mastectomy. After the surgery, she will have radiation treatments. She will also have reconstructive surgery but we’re not sure if that will be before the radiation treatments or after the treatments.

She has worked hard all of her life and is currently working a full time and part time job but that has been difficult for her to maintain with all of the doctor visits and tests.

Many of you already know how devastating it is for you or someone you love to go through chemotherapy, a double mastectomy and radiation. It has already drained her mentally and physically and she needs to rest so she can keep a positive outlook.

I’m praying to raise funds that will that help her fight this battle against cancer and take some time to focus on healing her mind and body.

The money that we raise will go towards making ends meet while she's in treatment. It will also go towards co-pays, prescription and a wig as she will likely start to lose her hair towards the end of next month.

I pray that any women who reads this will do this one thing for themselves if they aren’t already doing this. Please give yourself a self examination regularly. It can save your life. They only reason that she is getting help now is because she felt a lump in her breast and went in to have it checked as soon as she realized it wasnt normal.
