Help My Daughter Fund a Life-Saving Service Dog ‍

Donation protected
Hi , my name is Chantal

I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my daughter KC Hachey , who lives with multiple complex medical and mental health conditions, including grey matter heterotopia (a rare brain disorder), epilepsy/seizures, PTSD, and severe anxiety. These challenges deeply affect her day-to-day life, safety, and independence.

After much research and consultation, we are moving forward with a professionally guided service dog training plan. A puppy is already lined up, and a qualified trainer is ready to assist with the intensive work required to raise and train this dog to become a seizure and psychiatric response service dog.

Her doctor is fully on board and has signed off on a formal recommendation for this life-saving support animal.

This service dog will be trained to:
• Alert or respond to seizures
• Interrupt and ground during PTSD flashbacks and anxiety attacks
• Provide safety, comfort, and greater independence in daily life

Unfortunately, the costs are significant, including:
• The initial cost of the puppy
• Ongoing professional training fees
• Supplies, vet care, and certification support

We’re asking for help to cover these essential expenses and ensure my daughter has access to the support she truly needs. Every dollar will go directly toward building this partnership between her and the dog that will one day change — and possibly save — her life.

If you can give, share, or simply send love, we are deeply grateful.‍
