My name is Donna a single Mom and Im a mother going through one of the hardest battles of my life. My daughter, Lia is just 12 years old, and she’s fighting a serious kidney disease and autoimmune disorder.

A Bright and Talented Girl:

Lia has always been a brilliant and determined young girl. She’s been a high honors student from Grade 1 to Grade 7, active in school and full of ambition.

She dreams of becoming both an artist and a programmer. At just 9 years old, she created her very first game on Roblox — something that amazed us all. She’s incredibly creative and full of potential, and it hurts to see her dreams put on pause by her illness.

Her Health Struggles:

Recently, she started showing signs of illness — fatigue, swelling, and body pain. After many hospital visits and lab tests, doctors discovered that her kidneys are deteriorating, and her autoimmune system is attacking her body.

Her creatinine levels are dangerously high, and she may need to be admitted to the hospital next week if they continue to rise.

Why We Need Help:

I’m currently working here in Canada, doing everything I can to support her from afar. But my daughter is back home in the Philippines, and sadly, we don’t have access to public healthcare there.

Her medical expenses — tests, treatments, medication, and potential hospital admission — are rapidly growing, and I cannot cover them all on my own.
