My daughter is 4 years old, and she has been fighting for her life since the day she was born. She was born with hypoplastic right heart syndrome, meaning she was born with only half of a functioning heart. Since birth, she has already endured more than most people will in a lifetime. Despite everything, she continues to fight with a strength that inspires everyone around her.
Two years ago, our journey became even more complex. She began having seizures, and after an MRI, we learned that her brain development is irregular, with parts of her brain that did not fully form. She is currently nonverbal and works incredibly hard every day in therapies to help her grow, communicate, and thrive. Even with everything she faces, she is full of life. Her smile lights up every room she enters. She may be shy at first, but she has a way of warming hearts almost instantly. She is truly the strongest little girl I know.
In the next 2–5 months, she will need another major open-heart surgery. Right now, she is on multiple medications just to make sure her body is strong enough to undergo this procedure. This surgery is critical for her survival and her future. I am a single mom doing everything I can to give my daughter the care she needs. Between medical bills, ongoing therapies, medications, and the costs of travel and time away from work, the financial burden has become overwhelming. I love my daughter more than anything in this world, and my ultimate goal is to give her the best life I possibly can. I am asking for help so that I can focus on what matters most—being there for my daughter through this next stage of her fight. Any donation, no matter the amount, truly makes a difference. If you are unable to give, sharing our story means the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read about my daughter. Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your kindness. She is a fighter—and with your help, she can keep fighting.
