Help My Daughter Experience the World Through Language and Culture

I’m reaching out today to ask for your support in helping my daughter take part in two incredible school trips that will greatly enrich her education and personal growth. Together, these trips cost $6,000, and we are hoping to raise enough to cover them.

The first opportunity is a school trip to China (cost: $1,500). This trip is especially meaningful because my daughter has been studying Mandarin for the past three years and has truly developed a passion for the language and culture. To further her learning, she has even attended Chinese immersion camps during the past two summers, working hard to build her fluency. Traveling to China would allow her to bring her studies to life, practice her language skills in real settings, and experience firsthand the culture she has grown to love.

The second trip is to Spain and Portugal (cost: $4,500). This experience will connect her directly to her own roots, as she is Puerto Rican and has ancestral ties to both countries. Being able to visit these places will not only give her a deeper understanding of her heritage but also broaden her appreciation for the history and culture that shaped her family’s story.

Both of these trips are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. They will expand her worldview, deepen her cultural understanding, and allow her to continue pursuing her passion for languages in ways that simply aren’t possible inside a classroom.
