My dad’s small, family-owned office in Los Angeles Ca was robbed on August 25 at 1:30 AM. This is a hardworking man who runs his office seven days a week and only closes on New Year’s Day. He has five employees and has always poured his heart into serving his customers.

This robbery wasn’t random it was a planned break-in. The thieves came with tools to break through the walls and get into the safe. They made a hole through the neighbor’s building, went straight to the desk, stole the cash, and then emptied the safe. The total loss was around $108,000.

$60,150 from 3rd party services (not even his money) this is money he collects from customers for auto insurance payments money transfers and more which he is responsible for.

The rest was my dad’s personal savings which was $47,850 .

This year my dad had finally planned his first vacation in years, but now he has to cancel because all of his hard-earned money is gone. which is honestly the last of his concerns he’s more worried about his employees , and the funds that belong to the companies he works with.

Unfortunately, the police weren’t much help and told us the money is essentially lost. To make matters worse, he doesn’t have insurance, because after a previous robbery last year, the insurance company canceled his policy due to “high risk.” He even installed a security curtain, but the thieves found a way through the neighbor’s building.

My dad is a tax professional, which means he works extremely hard during tax season, relying on what he makes in those months to get through the year, which was all stolen. My dad is a person who’s always willing to lend a hand. He’s always the first to give money for funeral expenses when customers come and ask, he loves to give back to his customers. He holds a lot of giveaways to show his customers how much he cares for them.
