My dad has been diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm that requires urgent surgical intervention. But let me tell you who our dad really is - he's not just our father, he's our best friend, and honestly, one of the most incredible humans you'll ever meet.

He's a giant teddy bear of a man who happens to be hilarious - the kind of person who can light up any room he walks into. More importantly, he's spent his entire life giving to others. Whether it's his time, his humor, his kindness, or his unwavering support, he's always been the first person to show up for anyone who needs him. He was in a band that supported many charities and raised money for people.

Now, he needs us.

We're currently in Botswana, where the medical facilities are unable to perform this complex procedure. We've found a hospital in India that can do the surgery, but getting him there comes with significant costs that our medical aid won't fully cover.

**What we need help with:**

- My mum and dad's travel expenses are not covered.

- Accommodation and living expenses during their extended stay in India for the surgery and recovery period

As many of you know my mum and dad are high school sweethearts My mum needs to be by his side through this - they're a team, and he needs her support during this frightening time. They'll need to stay in India throughout the surgery and his recovery.
