Hi, my name is Angeles. This is a very difficult thing to post but when it comes to family, I will do what I have to do to ensure their safety.

With the unfortunate news of my father contracting the Covid-19 virus and ending up in the hospital I am doing whatever I can to help. His condition is slowly improving but he still needs treatment due to his low oxygen levels after developing pneumonia. He was admitted to the hospital on April 20th, and unfortunately Ecuador doesn’t have the benefit of health insurance thus each day he was there added another $1,200+ to the bill. We made the decision however to remove him from the hospital due to the neglect he felt from the hospital staff.  It was such a poorly managed business where they cared more about money than the patients.  Unfortunately my dad still relies on oxygen tanks to breathe so we have a Doctor who visits him daily to check his airflow and also gives him breathing treatments. He has also been working with a breathing therapist who has been attempting to increase his lung strength because they are saying 75% of his lungs are not working properly due to him developing fibrosis. 

Needless to say, we really need some help.  Any amount you can spare will be a tremendous help to us and will be greatly appreciated!
