Hi, my name is Annelise, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my Dad Robert and Stepmom Miriam. They recently lost their home in a tragic fire that occurred on July 23rd in San Jose, CA on the corner of Hillsdale and Gavota. This wasn’t just any house—it was a home with deep roots. It was originally purchased by my great-grandfather and has been in our family for generations. It held so many beautiful memories as it was my childhood home, and I will miss it more than words can express. In an instant, that history, along with all of their belongings and many cherished sentimentals, were gone.

Thankfully, they made it out safely, but they are now faced with starting over from nothing. The emotional and financial burden is overwhelming, and they could use our support more than ever.

We’re asking for help to cover immediate needs such as:

Temporary housing

Clothing and personal items

And basic household essentials
