For the second time in his life, someone totaled my dad’s truck. The difference this time is that he’s retired and living on a fixed income, which makes replacing his vehicle much more difficult. The insurance company isn’t providing enough to cover the cost of a new truck, leaving him in a tough spot.

My dad has always been the kind of person who gives freely to others. Over the decades, he’s helped friends, family, and even strangers without ever expecting anything in return. Now, as he faces this unexpected challenge, I wanted to find a way to show him the same kindness he’s shown so many.
