הנטל הפיזי, הרגשי והכלכלי של אי ספיקת כליות היה כבד מאוד. חודשים – ולרבים, שנים – של טיפולים, אשפוזים, תרופות, אובדן עבודה ופחד מתמיד גזלו מאיתנו כל משאב.

זמן זה אמור להיות מוקדש להחלמה, כוח והכרת תודה – ולא לעומס הכבד של לחץ כלכלי. ובכל זאת, זו המציאות שאנו חווים.

בתור הילד היחיד שלו, עשיתי כמיטב יכולתי לתמוך באבא שלי, אך אינני יכול לעשות זאת לבד יותר.

After a long and painful journey of illness, dialysis, fear, and uncertainty, my dad finally received a kidney transplant.

The physical, emotional, and financial toll of kidney failure has been overwhelming. Months—and for many, years—of treatments, hospital stays, medications, missed work, and constant fear have drained every resource.

This should be a time for healing, strength, and gratitude—not the crushing weight of financial stress. Yet, this is the reality we are facing.

As his only child, I have been doing my best to support my dad, but I cannot do it alone anymore.
