My name is Amanjot Grewal , and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life.

My father is visiting me here in Canada on a visitor visa, and during his stay, he suddenly became very ill. After rushing him to the Rocky view hospital, doctors diagnosed him with Fournier’s Gangrene, a severe and life-threatening infection that required emergency surgery.

The experience has been terrifying and overwhelming. As his only child, I’ve been by his side every moment, doing my best to support him physically, emotionally, and financially. Unfortunately, as a visitor, he isn’t covered by Canada’s public healthcare system, and the medical bills have quickly added up—including surgery costs, hospital stays, medications, and ongoing care needs.

I’m creating this GoFundMe to help cover:

Hospital and surgery expenses

Post-operative care and medications

Recovery and living costs while my dad heals

My father has always been a hardworking, humble man who raised me with love and strength. Seeing him in this condition breaks my heart, but I know that with the kindness of others, he can recover fully and regain his health.
