Help us with my dads long road of recovery
Donation protected
On September 26, 2021, our father got into a serious motorcycle accident. He was riding from New York when he was thrown off his bike and was airlifted to intensive care at Ruby Memorial West Virginia Hospital. He suffered life-threatening injuries and was rushed to surgery shortly after being admitted. Some of his injuries included: bleeding in the brain, broken sternum, broken ribs, shattered hip, fracture in his right arm, broken tailbone, broken lower lumbar spine, and a broken jaw. My father is still in intensive care as he recovers from these injures in West Virginia. He has made it through multiple surgeries in such a short amount of time, such as his right arm, jaw, and lower back. Every day he fights through the pain as he is slowly becoming more aware of his surroundings. We want to bring my dad back to his home in New York, where he can start his long road of recovery with his family and friends. My dad will not be able to work during his recovery so we are trying to raise money to help my dad get safely transferred back to New York and help with his living expenses along with his medical bills. Every little bit will help.
If you can not donate, please share his story.
Thank you so much!
