On April 25, 2026, my dad was 16 hours into his second job, driving his concrete truck to support our family. Around 1am, while he was on the highway, he heard a loud bang that nearly tipped his concrete truck over. When he pulled over, he discovered that a grey Kia Soul had crashed into the back of his concrete truck at 100 mph. The driver of the Kia fled the scene, leaving my dad stranded and without his work truck, which he relies on to provide for our family.
