Help My Dad Recover After Emergency Vascula Aneurysm Surgery

Hi everyone,

My name’s Joji, I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during one of the most challenging times for our family.

My dad, Jaime, arrived in Australia on a tourist visa to spend a year with us and enjoy some precious time with his loved ones. What was meant to be a joyful family reunion has quickly turned into a medical emergency.

He was rushed to hospital and diagnosed with a life-threatening aortic aneurysm that required urgent, complex surgery. He is now in ICU and

receiving critical care and fighting hard to recover.

While we are incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving, the financial burden is overwhelming. Although he has private travel insurance, his policy does not cover heart or vascular surgeries — meaning we are now faced with extremely high medical bills that we simply cannot afford on our own.

We are doing everything we can to support his recovery, but we need help to cover the cost of the surgery and other bills.
