This past Saturday, my dad lost his home in a devastating house fire. Thankfully, he made it out safely, and we are beyond grateful for that. Unfortunately, almost everything else was lost. He has insurance, but the recovery process takes time, and there are many immediate needs and expenses that come with suddenly losing a home. Right now, he is staying with a close friend while he begins figuring out the next steps.

The fire happened in the middle of the night, and my dad did everything he could to try to save his home. The damage was just too much, and he had to make the difficult decision to get out and leave everything behind. It’s been overwhelming to see how quickly life can change, and we are still coming to terms with the loss of so many memories and belongings.

We are raising funds to help cover essentials, temporary living costs, and basic needs as he starts the long road to rebuilding.
