Hutchinson, KS. My dad lost his home in a devastating fire last night, and it has turned his world upside down. In just a few hours, he lost not only his house but also all of his belongings and the sense of security he had built over the years. It’s heartbreaking to see someone you love go through something so sudden and overwhelming, especially when they have always been there for others in times of need.
Right now, our main focus is helping him find temporary housing and replacing the essentials he needs to get by day-to-day. The funds raised will go directly toward securing a safe place for him to stay, purchasing clothes, food, and other necessities, and starting the long process of rebuilding his life. If we are able to raise enough, we hope to help him move into a new home or a rental so he can begin to heal and regain some stability.
