Help My Dad Muhamed Fight Cancer with Monthly Immunotherapy

Hello, my name is Esma, and I’m reaching out to you with a heartfelt request. My dad, Muhamed Kurbegović, is battling metastatic clear cell renal carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer that has spread to his pancreas. I live in Austria, while my parents reside in Bosnia. After undergoing a specialized radiotherapy procedure at Radiochirurgia Zagreb to treat pancreatic metastases, he now requires monthly immunotherapy treatments to increase his chances of survival. These treatments are critical to prevent further progression of the disease. Each treatment costs approximately €8,500, which is extremely expensive.

About My Dad’s Journey

My dad is retired. He has faced numerous health challenges over the years. He was first diagnosed with clear cell renal carcinoma in 2010 and underwent a partial nephrectomy. Despite being cancer-free for several years, the disease returned aggressively in 2025, spreading to his pancreas. Earlier this year, he underwent a cutting-edge radiotherapy procedure at Radiochirurgia Zagreb that targeted the pancreatic metastases. While this procedure was successful in addressing the immediate threat, ongoing immunotherapy is now essential to manage his condition and improve his prognosis.

Muhamed has always been a pillar of strength for our family. He’s a kind-hearted man who has worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for us. Despite facing numerous health challenges over the years—including surgeries for thyroid and kidney cancer—he has remained optimistic and resilient. Now, he needs our support more than ever.

The funds raised will help me cover the cost of monthly immunotherapy treatments (€8,500 per session).
